BUDDY EVENTS SPONSORED BY HOME REMODELING PROS OF CENTRAL PA SET FOR JULY 14 @ FNB FIELD
HARRISBURG, PA (May 9, 2022) -- The Hershey Harrisburg Sports & Events Authority (HHSE) announced today that registration for the 2022 Big 26 Baseball Classic® Buddy Program is open. The Buddy Program includes a Buddy/Player picnic, Challenger Game, participation in pre-game introductions, and more.
The Big 26 Buddy Program is open to children, teens, and young adults ages 5-21 with intellectual or physical disabilities. Most participants are from Dauphin and surrounding counties (Cumberland, Adams, York, Lebanon, Lancaster, etc.), but we also have Buddy alums from Northeast PA and beyond.
There is no fee for buddies to participate. The Challenger Game at FNB Field is also a free event that’s open to the public. Big 26 encourages family, friends, and community members to attend. Buddies and a guest also receive free admission to all Big 26 games.
HHSE is also proud to welcome Home Remodeling Pros of Central PA as the Buddy Event sponsor. This sponsorship plays a significant role in providing a memorable experience for the Buddies and Players. “Helping those with special needs is near and dear to our hearts, and combining that with the national pastime feels like a perfect opportunity to make a difference with our local community for both the families with special needs youth and young adults and the Big 26 athletes,” said Home Pros Owner Craig Leary.
